The Clarkrange Buffaloes lost against the Oneida Indians last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Clarkrange fell to Oneida 55-49. Clarkrange has not had much luck with Oneida recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Clarkrange saw an underclassman step up: Jack Cordell scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds. The game was Cordell's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Lane Byrd was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
The last time Clarkrange won on the road was back on Tuesday. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 3-5. As for Oneida, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarkrange's road trip will continue as they head out to face Van Buren County at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Oneida, they will square off against Gatlinburg-Pittman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
