The Spring Lions will be playing at home against the Benjamin Davis Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Spring focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Friday.
Last Friday, Spring was the victim of a rough 57-34 loss at the hands of the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Spring can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Cougars are ranked 164th).
Spring's loss came about despite a quality game from Cedric Richardson, who scored six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Davis scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 80-43 victory over Aldine. Winning may never get old, but Benjamin Davis sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
This is the second loss in a row for Spring and nudges their season record down to 15-15. As for Benjamin Davis, they pushed their record up to 19-9 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home.
Spring came up short against the Falcons in their previous matchup back in January, falling 51-39. Will Spring have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
