Kate Myers' Big Game Leads Pleasant Grove over Monterey Trail
Pleasant Grove picked up their tenth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Kate Myers. Myers was dynamite, rushing for 138 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 45 yards and two touchdowns. Her longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain her lofty yards per carry total.
If history really does repeat itself, Myers might just drop another big game when she faces off against Sheldon on Thursday. Back in September (the last time Myers saw the Huskies), she threw for 113 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.

The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 95 yards.
Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Singleton and Franklin will head out to take on Wheatland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
