The Bosco Tech Tigers entered their tilt with the Mary Star of the Sea Stars with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Bosco Tech came out on top against the Stars by a score of 77-68 on Wednesday. Given Bosco Tech's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Stars are ranked 431st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Ryan Osborne, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. Kenneth Martinez was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Bosco Tech is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Mary Star of the Sea, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-9.
Bosco Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mary Star of the Sea will head out on the road to challenge the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Hesperia Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 37 on Friday.
