Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kate Elmore, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Elmore has scored at least 25% of South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s points. Sarah Elmore was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds.
Stanton County's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Stanton County will be playing at home against McClave at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. McClave presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Stanton County in their respective states (McClave is ranked 36th in Colorado, while Stanton County is ranked 166th in Kansas). As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], they will square off against Manzanola at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
