After flying high against the Northwestern Warriors last Saturday, the Benjamin Logan Raiders came back down to earth. Benjamin Logan took a 38-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jonathan Alder. Benjamin Logan was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Jonathan Alder apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Benjamin Logan's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mya Burrey, who scored 11 points. Kyndal Cronkleton was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Benjamin Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Jonathan Alder, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benjamin Logan will stay at home for another game and welcome North Union at 7:30 p.m. on January 20th. Jonathan Alder will take on Urbana at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
