The Belfry Pirates's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They blew past Man 68-36 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Belfry has managed all season.
Belfry found their leader in underclassman Zade Rash, who scored 21 points along with seven steals and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Jude, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
Belfry's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for Man, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Belfry will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Pikeville at 6:00 p.m. Pikeville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Man won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Tolsia at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. Tolsia is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.6 points per game.
