The Riverside Bulldogs can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 72-48 margin over O'Bannon. Winning may never get old, but Riverside sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Riverside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Stewart led the charge by scoring 22 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaleel Moore, who scored 20 points.
Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for O'Bannon, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing North Side the next time they take the court. O'Bannon will head out to face North Side at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Riverside will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
