Mobridge-Pollock will challenge Groton on the road on Thursday. Groton will need to watch out since Mobridge-Pollock have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Last Friday, Mobridge-Pollock put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against McLaughlin as the squad secured a 71-0 victory. The rankings were on Mobridge-Pollock's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
Meanwhile, Groton took an ego-bruising loss against Milbank three weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Groton took their contest against Redfield/Doland 21-14.
Their wins bumped Mobridge-Pollock to 5-3 and Groton to 6-3. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Mobridge-Pollock and Groton clash.
