Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] had to settle for second on Monday, but Brooklyn Tomlinson sure wasn't going down easily. Tomlinson was dynamite, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 4-for-5. Tomlinson is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Looking ahead, Tomlinson and Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] will be playing in front of their home fans against Beulah at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are at an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long.
