When it comes to explaining why Williams lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kyden Bowen. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points. Diego Ambriz was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Upper Lake's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Williams, they have fallen quite a ways from their 19-7 record last season and are now at 2-7.
Upper Lake will head out on the road to face off against Los Molinos at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
