There's no place like home for the Mt. Carmel Sundevils, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past San Pasqual 74-44 at home on Wednesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-13.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mt. Carmel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jimmy Milder, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Raymond Hourani was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Mt. Carmel has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for San Pasqual, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Carmel will take on the Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rancho Buena Vista presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Sundevils in California (the Longhorns are ranked 137th, while the Sundevils are ranked 407th). As for San Pasqual, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
