The Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Autauga Academy. Roney is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. Jacob Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Macon-East Montgomery Academy bumped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 3.67 points. As for Autauga Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Autauga Academy will finish 2023 at home by hosting Calvary Christian at 12:30 p.m. on December 27th. Calvary Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 399th in Georgia, while Autauga Academy is ranked 175th in Alabama).
