Kaden Powell made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowing only two earned runs while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.
