Isabella has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Fayetteville Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Isabella comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Isabella suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Comer at home and fell 70-24. Isabella has not had much luck with Comer recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 87-53, which was the final score in Fayetteville's tilt against Victory Christian on Tuesday. Fayetteville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Isabella's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.3 points per game. As for Fayetteville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
Isabella took a serious blow against Fayetteville when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 72-38. Can Isabella avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
