The Male Bulldogs will square off against the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Male came out on top against Bullitt Central on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Bulldogs walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Cougars.

Kellen Goodman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
In other pitching news, Miles Flack looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Male is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 11-12 otherwise.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on West Bickett, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Ford, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Pleasure Ridge Park strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let Fairdale get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 18 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Pleasure Ridge Park pushed their record up to 28-0 with the victory, which was their 39th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Male, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-13.
Male suffered a grim 15-3 defeat to Pleasure Ridge Park in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Bulldogs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
