Several Huskies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brooke Silva, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Libby Blythe, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Vincennes Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Evansville North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5.
Vincennes Lincoln will look to defend their home court on Saturday against South Knox at 1:30 p.m. South Knox will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. As for Evansville North, they will head out on the road to square off against Jasper at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Jasper is ranked 75th, while Evansville North is ranked 74th).
