The Wells Raiders suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They were beaten by Farragut 48-18. Wells was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.
Several Raiders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ana Melo, who scored six points.
Wells has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Farragut, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
Wells will take on Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Foreman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Thursday. As for Farragut, they will head out on the road to square off against Austin College and Career Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Austin College and Career Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
