The Bartram Trail Bears will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Fletcher Senators at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bartram Trail comes in on three and the Senators on four.
Last Monday, Bartram Trail beat the Eagles 42-33.
Bartram Trail relied on the efforts of Miranda Campos, who scored 11 points along with two steals, and Alyssa Donohue, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Donohue pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fletcher put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Trinity Christian Academy, posting a 47-13 win at home. Given Fletcher's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Conquerors are ranked 528th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bartram Trail's win ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Fletcher, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
