Hickory Christian Academy has struggled against Asheville School (Independent) recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Miki Gacic was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deniz Oklu, who scored ten points.
Hickory Christian Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10. As for Asheville School (Independent), the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-14.
