Johnson never got on the board in their matchup two weeks ago, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Clarkston last Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 35-6 victory over the Angoras.
Among those leading the charge was Demetri Moon, who rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Moon was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards.
Midtown's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Johnson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Midtown against Johnson in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 36-7 win. Does Midtown have another victory up their sleeve, or will Johnson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
