Softball Recap: Barker Has No Trouble Against Pembroke

Barker never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on the Pembroke Dragons with a sharp 12-0 win. The contest marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Barker let Kaylee Stoll and Mady Flint run wild. Stoll got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Flint got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Stoll is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Madelina Pavlock also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Barker was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .344 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Barker's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Pembroke, their record is now 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barker will face off against Medina at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pembroke, they will square off against Webber at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
