The Fairview Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Heritage Eagles  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Fairview is headed into the  game out to prove that what happened against Rock Canyon  on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Fairview was  outmatched by Rock Canyon and fell  60-20. The loss was the Knights' first of the season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of  Chloe Hickory and  Olivia Soto, who each put up six  points.  Soto also led the team in rebounds with four.
Meanwhile, Heritage had to hit the road for their first game and  it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a  blow against Ralston Valley on Tuesday, falling  72-34. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured 15 losses in a row dating back to last season.
 Despite the  defeat, Heritage saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Carol Belair  posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Meilla Collins, who  had nine  points.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Fairview  fell to 2-1. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
