The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mooreland, who took down 187th ranked Mooreland, 38-20.
Texhoma extended the longest winning streak in A District 1 this week by beating Fairview, 55-14. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Red Devils.
Ryan Nash was the best wideout in the league this week as Beaver lost to Okeene. Nash racked up one reception for nine yards.
Nash was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 122 yards on 28 carries as the Dusters fell to the Whippets. Hadley Skaggs also contributed to the rushing game with 30 yards on the ground.
Scott Dobrinski put up the best numbers through the air as Okeene defeated Beaver. He finished with two completions for 99 yards and two touchdowns.
The Yellowjackets' Grant Nightengale and Michael Christopher have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading A District 1 in both passing and receiving yards. Nightengale has thrown for 1580 yards this season, while Christopher, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 32 catches for 371 yards. Nash from Mike Mcvay's team leads the league in rushing with 823 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Jeff Wardlaw's team takes on Texhoma. At the moment, the Whippets are in third, while Aaron Witten's team is in first.
The Red Devils moved up to 55 from 91 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Texhoma was able to make move up by beating Fairview 55-14.
