Marion put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the West Memphis Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Marion has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for West Memphis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-16.

Looking ahead, Marion will welcome Briarcrest Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West Memphis, they are taking a road trip to face off against White Station at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
