The Innovations International Ambassadors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 23 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Mountain View Christian 57-22 at home. That looming 57-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Innovations International yet this season.
Several Saints players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matthew Lindsey, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Innovations International pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Mountain View Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Innovations International won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Mountain View Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Word of Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
