The Holden Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Richmond at home and fell 74-37. Holden was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-17.
Despite the loss, Holden saw an underclassman step up: Kolby Hill scored 15 points. Kasyn Tevis was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Holden dropped their record down to 3-17 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Richmond, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Holden will head out on the road to take on the Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richmond, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m.
