Providence Catholic won the last time they faced Trinity and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Celtics walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Blazers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Celtics.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Providence Catholic was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12.

Abbey Knight paced Providence Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Knight got some help from Delaney Purtill and her eight assists. Knight was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Providence Catholic's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Trinity, they moved to 11-7 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Catholic will take on Illinois Math & Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Trinity, they will face off against Elmwood Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
