The Strawn Greyhounds will be home for the holidays to greet the Bangs Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, Strawn took a serious blow against Huckabay, falling 63-34. Strawn has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bangs' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 54-37 bruising from Hamilton. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bangs in their matchups with Hamilton: they've now lost four in a row.
Strawn now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Bangs, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
Things could have been worse for Strawn, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-43 loss to Bangs in their previous meeting back in December of 2022.
