Marquette had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Midland Timberwolves. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 contests by six runs or more this season.

Marquette pushed their record up to 26-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Midland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14-3.

Marquette has already played their next game, a 13-0 win against Newman Central Catholic on the 16th. As for Midland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 18-1 victory against Blue Ridge on the 16th.
