Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Unalakleet couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Seward Seahawks by a score of 32-29 on Friday. The Wolfpack's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Seward's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Sieminski, who posted six points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ava Jagielski, who had eight points along with eight boards and five steals.

Unalakleet's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Seward, the win was the 26th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-2.

Unalakleet has already played their next game, a 46-36 victory against Chevak on the 15th. As for Seward, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-29 win against Glennallen on the 15th.
