Hillcrest strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 49-28 margin over the Thunder Ridge Titans. 49 seems to be a good number for the Knights as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Tyson Sweetwood had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 146 yards and a pair of TDs. Another player making a difference was Dax Sargent, who rushed for 139 yards and one score while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hillcrest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 389 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 175 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Hillcrest's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Thunder Ridge, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
