St. Paul Lutheran barely beat Sweet Springs the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. St. Paul Lutheran blew past Sweet Springs 13-1 on Thursday. The Saints have beaten the Greyhounds the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Greyhounds has come to flipping the script.

Ty McGinnis and Micah Truwe did most of the damage at the plate: McGinnis scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Truwe scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydon Battista, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

St. Paul Lutheran's record now sits at 2-0. As for Sweet Springs, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
