If Providence-St. Mel hoped to take revenge for the 61-51 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Despite the loss, Providence-St. Mel still got an impressive performance from Kenneth Miller, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Norris, who scored eight points.
