The Wisner-Pilger Gators were the 46-29 winner over the Lutheran-Northeast Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Wisner-Pilger was outmatched by Lutheran-Northeast at home and fell 79-37.
Lutheran-Northeast's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braden Feddern, who scored 21 points along with 4 steals. Josh Rojas was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with 3 steals.
Wisner-Pilger's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lutheran-Northeast, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Guardian Angels Central Catholic the next time they take the court. Wisner-Pilger will head out to face Guardian Angels Central Catholic on Friday, while Lutheran-Northeast will host them on Saturday.
