While Gavin McPherson delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Liberty. McPherson went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. The effort also marked the most hits (two) he has had since back in May of 2024.

McPherson and Liberty will square off against Wylie at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wylie will enter the matchup having just beaten Burkburnett, so Liberty will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
