Perquimans has gone a perfect 10-0 against Tarboro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Pirates will face off against the Vikings. Perquimans is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Ben Brown was excellent, earning three RBI, one run, and two stolen bases. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Sean Saunders was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.
Perquimans hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tarboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Hobbton on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Cole Craddock made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Tarboro's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 6-9 when he doesn't). Craddock was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason Satterfield, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Tarboro: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-9 otherwise.
Perquimans is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Tarboro, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Perquimans has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Tarboro struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Perquimans came out on top in a nail-biter against Tarboro in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 6-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
