Football Recap: Baldwyn Piles Up the Points Against Water Valley

After only six points in their last contest, Baldwyn made sure to put some points up on the board against Water Valley on Thursday. The Bearcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Blue Devils 43-12. The Bearcats pushed the score to 29-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Devils had little chance of recovering from.

Baldwyn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gray Earnest led the charge by rushing for 68 yards and one score, while also picking up 44 receiving yards and one TD. Earnest showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 54 yards. Brandon Johnson was in the mix as well, providing Baldwyn with two touchdowns.
