Dexter (Mo.) 19 points,
Malden (Mo.) came back strong to notch a 30-27 win over
Dexter (Mo.) Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Peyton Pollock to
DJ Dowdy, the Bearcats went into halftime with a 27-8 lead. The Green Wave took the lead for good with a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring eight points in the third, Malden still trailed by 11 points going into the fourth quarter. But 14 points in the fourth helped MHS pull out the victory.
The Green Wave didn't regain the lead for good until the the fourth quarter when they ran for a touchdown.
A 58-26 Malden victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
