Cedar Ridge fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 50-48. Cedar Ridge has not had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Cedar Ridge lost, one person who can't be blamed is Peyton Dulin. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Fielding, who scored 13 points.
Leading Stony Point to victory were Josiah Moseley and Uzziah Buntyn. Moseley scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two blocks, while Buntyn scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Moseley hasn't dropped below 16 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Davaughn Hueitt, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Stony Point, they pushed their record up to 28-1 with that victory, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Cedar Ridge will face off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manor will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Stony Point, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vista Ridge has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28.
