Anders Mitchell produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Northwest Guilford to the win on Friday. Mitchell threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Northwest Guilford's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Mitchell and Northwest Guilford will challenge Northern Guilford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Fabian Diggs Delivers Electric Performance Vs Southeast Guilford
While Ragsdale might've come up empty on Friday, Fabian Diggs wasn't going down without a fight. Diggs was unstoppable, rushing for 126 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.
Diggs and Ragsdale will take on Grimsley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers had to take a loss when they last met the Whirlies, but Diggs had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
