Bishop McGuinness is a perfect 6-0 against Leadership Academy since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Villains will venture away from home to face off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Bishop McGuinness will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Bishop McGuinness can't be too worried about heading out to take on Leadership Academy: they just beat Cornerstone Charter at home, who had been dominant on their own pitch up to that point. The Villains never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. Bishop McGuinness' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six games.

Anna Aufrance and Alyssa Dixon-Velez scored both of Bishop McGuinness' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Leadership Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Glenn on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Bobcats. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Leadership Academy's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Bishop McGuinness' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Leadership Academy, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Bishop McGuinness beat Leadership Academy 3-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Villains since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
