Everett is 8-2 against Stanwood since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate,  firing off five  runs, four  doubles,  and three  RBI while  getting on base  in six of her seven plate appearances. Those  four  doubles gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Rubi Lopez was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI.  Olivia Dahl was another key player,  getting on base  in four of her seven plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Stanwood  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 20  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Stanwood pushed their record up to 15-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Everett, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
 Everett might still be hurting after the  11-1 loss they got from Stanwood  in their previous meeting  two weeks ago. Can the Seagulls avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
