Goldwater not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7th. They blew past the Combs Coyotes 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Goldwater not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Combs between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.

Joseph Sotelo Valdez paced Goldwater's offense, picking up 16 kills. Sotelo Valdez got some help from Brandan Tran and his 37 assists. Tran was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Goldwater's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Combs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Goldwater will face off against Paradise Honors at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Combs, they will challenge Poston Butte at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
