2A Tri-River recap November 19, 2013
Regis's Jeremiah Grieser recorded the longest rushing play in 2A Tri-River this season in his game against Oakland last week. Grieser scampered for 93 yards on the play and finished with 347 on the day as his team bested the Oakers.
Regis added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Oakland, 44-19. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Waldport's Trenton Marquart and Kraig Pruett have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Marquart has thrown for 1,105 yards this season, while Pruett has 29 catches for 473 yards. The Rams' Grieser leads the league in rushing yards with 2,191.
Regis took down Ben Lane's team 44-19 last week, the largest margin of any game. Grieser ran for 347 yards during the win.
