The Wando Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They really took it to Stratford for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-29 victory at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-8.
Among those leading the charge was Isabel Waite, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Malaya Mazyck, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Wando's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Stratford, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
Wando will head out on the road to take on Goose Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Goose Creek will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Stratford will take on Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berkeley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Stratford in South Carolina (Berkeley is ranked 36th, while Stratford is ranked 192nd).
