Despite the loss, Rosemead saw an underclassman step up: Rhys Anderson scored 23 points. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 13 games he's played. Andrew Mojica was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Rosemead has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Arroyo, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosemead will take on El Monte at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. El Monte is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Arroyo, they will be playing at home against Marshall at 6:31 p.m. on Friday.
