The Poteet Aggies lost against the Sunnybrook Christian Lions back in December of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Poteet was the victim of a tough 58-33 defeat at the hands of Sunnybrook Christian. Poteet has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Christian Huber was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 26 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Sunnybrook Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Minica, who scored 14 points.
Poteet's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sunnybrook Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Poteet will head out on the road to face off against Knippa at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunnybrook Christian will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Cotulla at 3:00 p.m. on November 30th. Cotulla will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1270th, while Sunnybrook Christian is ranked 159th).
