Curtis Baptist won the last time they faced Jefferson Davis Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Curtis Baptist Crusaders took their contest with ease, bagging a 58-24 win over the Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 25 points or more this season.

Leading Curtis Baptist to victory were Jaliyah Terry and Maci Butler. Terry dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds, while Butler dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. Butler has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last five times she's played. Amelia Kilroy was another key player, putting up two points and seven boards.

Curtis Baptist was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive games.

Curtis Baptist has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
