Makayla Lessner made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
